Using the Schedule Editor |
Starting the Schedule EditorYou may start the Show Editor from the Start Menu by selecting All Programs -> Light-O-Rama -> Light-O-Rama Schedule Editor. Alternatively, if Light-O-Rama is already running, you can right-click on the Light-O-Rama icon in the tray and select Schedule EditorOpening, Saving, and RevertingLight-O-Rama maintains just a single schedule, so when the Schedule Editor starts, it opens and displays the current schedule. Once you start editing, however, the displayed schedule may differ from the saved schedule. If you have been editing the Schedule and are satisfied with the changes you have made, you should Save the schedule by pressing the Save Button on the Toolbar. On the other hand, if you wish to discard your changes, you should Revert to the saved Schedule by pressing the Revert Button on the Toolbar.In order for the changes you have made to the Schedule to take effect, you must first save the Schedule. Switching ViewsThe Schedule consists of two components – a Weekly Schedule and a Calendar Schedule, though only one view is displayed at a time. When the Schedule Editor starts, it displays the Weekly Schedule. Switch to the Calendar View by pressing the Calendar Button on the Toolbar, and to the Week View by pressing the Week Button on the Toolbar.Editing the ScheduleEditing the Schedule consists of Adding Shows, Deleting Shows and Editing Shows. For more details, see Editing the Schedule.Exiting the Schedule EditorYou exit the Schedule Editor by closing the application. If you have changed the Schedule, remember to save your changes before you exit.Using the ToolbarThe Schedule Editor Toolbar is visible both the Week View and the Calendar View.The Save Button - When the Save Button is pressed, all schedule information (both weekly and calendar) is saved and immediately take effect. The Revert Button - When the Revert Button is pressed, current schedule information will be discarded and replaced the last saved schedule. The Add Button - Use the Add Button to add shows to the schedule. When the Schedule Editor is presenting the Week View, the Add Button will allow you to add to the Weekly Schedule. When the Schedule Editor is presenting the Calendar View, the Add Button will allow you to add to the Calendar Schedule. The Week Button - When you press the Week Button, the Schedule Editor will switch to the Week View. When the Schedule Editor is currently showing the Week View, the Week Button will be depressed, as in Figure 1. The Calendar Button - When you press the Calendar Button, the Schedule Editor will switch to the Calendar View. When the Schedule Editor is currently showing the Calendar View, the Calendar Button will be depressed, as in Figure 2. The Help Button - The Help Button brings up the Light-O-Rama Help system. |
