It is not necessary to create your channels each time you create a new sequence.

After you have created your sequence, click "Edit -> Export Channel Configuration" and follow the prompts. This will save your information to a .LCC file.

When you create a new file, simply click "Edit -> Import Channel Configuration" and follow the prompts. Be sure to select the .LCC file from the previous step. This will import both your channel configurations and any animation you may have saved.

Notes: 

In LOR1 you are asked if you wish to import the animation. Be sure to say yes!

In LOR2 any animations will be imported for you.
