Your LOR1 sequences will work with LOR2 (S2).

The very first time you open a LOR1 sequence in S2, it will automatically convert it to the S2 format. If you wish to retain a copy of the sequences for LOR1, you should save a backup copy of the sequences before opening the sequence editor.

You can not open a S2 sequence with LOR1.
