What type of connection is made to between the computer and the Light-O-Rama devices? Print

There are three ways you can connect the computer to the LOR devices.

  1. RS485 Serial
  2. USB
  3. USB to Serial Adaptor with the RS485 serial connector.
For newer machines without a serial port, it is easier to go with the native USB connector options. Some USB to Serial devices have been known to cause issues with the host computer.
